Reddit Outages: Users Report Issues Despite Services Coming Back Online

Reddit quickly acknowledged the situation, stating that they were experiencing "performance hiccups" and were actively working on a fix. Tim Rathschmidt, a spokesperson from Reddit, assured users that most people currently have access to the platform across web and mobile apps, though some continued to face challenges.

As the situation unfolded, users took to other social media platforms, like X (formerly Twitter), to voice their concerns and frustrations. Many expressed how fragile their daily scrolling routine felt without Reddit. Despite limited access, the platform is gradually coming back online, with reports indicating that user access is improving. However, a fresh spike in error reports was noted shortly after the initial recovery, highlighting the ongoing struggle Reddit faces in restoring full functionality.
