Garland is already making strides on this new project. He revealed, "I’ve written one-and-a-half episodes. I’ve written the first episode, and I’m working on the second episode." However, he admitted uncertainty about whether FX would greenlight the show or if the original cast would return, stating, "It’s all completely speculative." Although details remain scarce, he teased that this new narrative would revolve around the theme of civil disobedience.
