Last week was the Carman Country Fair and it was awesome! There were so many things to do and see including a petting zoo, carnival rides, lumberjack competitions and fireworks to end it all off. There was even a competition where owners dressed up their ponies in elaborate costumes, like a mouse in a mousetrap and a football.
Very regular and totally normal.
We quickly fell in love with the animals and thought it’d be a good idea to get to know them better.
Check out the video above to see what they had to say. I don’t want to spoil anything, but let me just say these animals did NOT hold back. They really spoke their mind. It was shocking, to say the least.
My favourite thing at the Carman Country Fair was the petting zoo. It was full of animals. Bunnies, goats, ducks, sheep, ponies, horses and cows. I never wanted to leave once I got to hold the cute, baby bunnies.
It was fun to see people walking around with their horses and cows. You could just see how much pride they had for their animals.
Did you miss the fair?
If you missed the Carman Country Fair, don’t sweat it. There are plenty more chances to hang with cool animals in Manitoba this summer.
Six Pines has a petting zoo.
Ricklyn Farm has one, too.
You can visit Aunt Muffy’s Hobby Farm & Petting Zoo.
Or, hang with the goats at Brambles Nubian Goat Farm.
Deer Meadows also has a petting zoo.
And, of course, so does the Corn Maze.
You could check out Morning Sound Farm, just a few minutes outside of Winnipeg.
Wherever you go, take a picture of yourself with your new animal friends and send it to us! We’d love to see it!
